I LOVE this smoothie for its richness and delicate spice. Cardamom adds a gentle citrus flavor and is packed with many health benefits such as: antioxidant, digestive aid, respiratory ease, diuretic, and more... Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 Bananas (one fresh, one frozen)
1 medium red skinned apple (chopped with a few thin slices reserved for garnish)
1 Medjool Date
1 cup (8 oz.) Coconut Water
1/8 tsp Cardamom (or to taste)
Directions:
Place the Medjool Date, Coconut Water, and Apple in a blender and purify until smooth. Add in the Bananas and Cardamom, then continue blending until all is smooth and slightly frothy. Pour into a glass and garnish with the reserved apple slices.
